Mr. Thomas J. Carroll Obituary (1953

ATTLEBORO – Mr. Thomas J. Carroll, 64, of Attleboro passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017. He was the caring husband of LeeAnn (Hinds) Carroll. Born on April 24, 1953 in Brighton, MA, to the late John and Kathleen (Denneny) Carroll. Thomas was a graduate of Attleboro High School, upon graduation he attended Providence College and obtained his bachelor’s degree then furthered his studies at Westfield State where he earned his Master’s degree in Social Work. Thomas was employed with the Department of Children and Family (formally DSS) and later as a Child Abuse Investigator at the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office. Beside’s his wife Thomas is survived by his loving daughters; Caitlin Carroll, Siobhan Carroll; son-in law Brian White; sisters, Anne Carroll and Patricia Carroll. He is predeceased by his parents; his sister Jean Carroll; father-in-law Arthur “Bud” Hinds and mother –in law Bette Hinds Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, December 29, from 4-8 p.m. in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 30 at 10:00 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, 133 North Main Street, Attleboro. Burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers gifts may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute in memory of Thomas Carroll to support research for children and adults at Danna Farber Cancer Institute. P.O.
