Thomas Albert Cannon AFD Obituary (1955

ATTLEBORO –Thomas A. Cannon AFD, 63, of South Attleboro passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 14, 2018 in the Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, RI. He was the devoted husband of Alice (Marcil) Cannon of South Attleboro. Born on April 2, 1955 in Attleboro, MA he was a loving son to the late Albert and Ruth (Oldham) Cannon. Tom was a lifelong resident of South Attleboro and a graduate of Attleboro High School. After high school he attended the Boston Fire Academy and became a firefighter for the City of Attleboro, proudly serving his community for the past 30 plus years. He was a member of the Attleboro Firefighters PFFM Local 848 and an avid seasonal camper and who could always be easily located due to his relentless whistling. In addition to his wife, Alice, Tom is survived by his three sons, Lucas Cannon and his fiancé Andrea, Jacob Cannon and his wife Kathryn and Seth Cannon and his wife Carilyn; his cherished grandchildren, Andrew Cannon, Jane Cannon, Brooke Cannon, Kate Cannon, Keira Cannon and Thomas Cannon; his two sisters, Janice Roy and Joyce Chalifoux; a brother, Michael Cannon; his mother-in-law, Alice Seccareccia; his special sister-in-law, Kellie Marcil; his three brother-in-laws, Thomas Marcil, Kenneth Marcil and Butch Marcil; he is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, May 18th 2018 from 4 PM to 8 PM at the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home 20 Peck Street Attleboro, MA. Funeral and burial services will be held privately.
