Mrs. Theresa F. Nye Obituary (1933

ATTLEBORO – Theresa F. (Lapointe) Nye, 85, of Attleboro passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, October 20, 2018 in the Blue Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center in Stoughton. She was the loving wife of the late Lewis E. Nye who passed away in 2014. Born on January 14, 1933 in Worcester, MA she was a daughter of the late Philip and Florence Lapointe. Theresa was employed as an assembler at the Mansfield Chocolate Factory for over 20 years and a jewelry assembler at Balfour for 10 years. She most recently helped with food prep for the Attleboro Meals-on-Wheels program offered through Bristol Elder Services Nutrition Program. Theresa is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Nye) Chappell and her husband Jay of Taunton; her son, Daniel Nye and his wife Christine of Attleboro; her grandchildren: Dale Nye of Attleboro, Christy Chappell of Taunton, Danielle Chappell of Taunton, Joshua Arno of Attleboro, Brittney (Arno) Perry and her husband Sean of Rehoboth, Jeremy Arno of Attleboro, and Megan Nye of Manchester, CT.; she also leaves her Godson, Brian Martin of South Attleboro. She was the mother of the late Darlene (Nye) Arno. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, October 25, from 5 -8 p.m. in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck St. Attleboro. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 26, 2018 in the Oak Knoll Cemetery, Route 118, Rehoboth.
