Mrs. Ruth B. Johnson Obituary (1925

ATTLEBORO – Ruth B. Johnson, 88, of Attleboro passed away on March 15, 2014 in Life Care Center of Attleboro. She was the wife of the late Harold I. Johnson. Born August, 12, 1925 in Attleboro, MA, she was a daughter of the late Rudolph and Leafy (Miller) LaPalme. Ruth was most recently employed at the Attleboro City Hall as a switchboard operator. She also did clerical work for the city hall. She was married to her late husband Harold for over 51 years. They both enjoyed skiing the White Mountains and the Swiss Alps together. Ruth loved spending time with her nieces on the many Caribbean Cruises they went on together. She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth and her husband Paul Hamilton of North Attleboro; her brother, Raymond LaPalme and his wife Tomiko of Florida; and her many nieces and nephews. Sister of the late Marion Mello. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 2-6 p.m. in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 5 p.m. in the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 647 North Main St, Attleboro.
