Mr. Roger Sauvageau Obituary (1931

NORTH ATTLEBORO – Roger Sauvageau, 85, also known as Roger Savage, of North Attleboro passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016 in the Cottage at Briarcliffe Gardens, Johnston, RI. He was the loving husband of 40 years to Helen Sauvageau of North Attleboro. Born on March 11, 1931 in Bellingham, MA, he was the son of the late Alfred and Lucile (Berthiaume) Sauvageau. Roger spent his early years in Bellingham, he later moved to Franklin before settling in North Attleboro. He was the President of Savage Electric, Oakwoods Construction and Lake Shore Construction. Roger has built many homes and developed land in the area. Roger was an avid golfer and lifelong member of Franklin Country Club. He was a pilot, saltwater fisherman, hunter and a true outdoorsman. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Roger Sauvageau and his wife Marge of Utah, Norman Sauvageau of Attleboro, Sandra Mace of Utah, James Sauvageau of North Attleboro, Paul Sauvageau and wife his Nancy of Nebraska, John Sauvageau of Utah and Cherie Jensen and her husband Josh and son Kole all of North Attleboro; he is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Roger was the father of the late Susan Burrows and is also predeceased by his brother Leo Sauvageau and sister Rita Robioux. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, October 24, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. in the Evangelical Covenant Church, 841 N Main St, Attleboro, MA. A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 10 a.m. in the Evangelical Covenant Church. Burial will follow in the North Purchase Cemetery, Attleboro.
