Mr. Ricky "Joub" Joubert Obituary (1958

SO. ATTLEBORO - Ricky ("Joub") Joubert, 54, formerly of Brown St. So. Attleboro died suddenly at home on Wednesday, October 2, 2013. Born in Attleboro, MA on Nov. 22, 1958, he was the son of the late Eugene and Jessie Joubert. He was a lifelong resident of Attleboro and attended school in the Attleboro School district where he was known as the “class clown.” He was a 1976 graduate of Attleboro High School. He then served 4 years in the Marine Corps and received an Honorable Discharge for his service, before retiring due to illness. He was employed as a welder at CPS Co. Taunton, MA. Joub was known as a free spirit and loved hanging out with his friends known as the South. Attleboro boys. One his best attributes was to make people laugh. Joub was also known for his kind heart and his true and loyal friendship to all that knew him. He is survived by his only sibling, his sister Susan King and her husband Kurt King of Pawtucket, RI; 3 nephews, Jason Little of Pawtucket, Jared Little of So. Attleboro and Gino Choiniere of Pawtucket, RI; one great nephew Jacob Little and two great nieces Emma and Alyssa Little. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. He shared most of his life with his lifelong love, Debbie Doherty whom he lived with until her passing in 2012. In lieu of flowers, Mrs. King requests donations to be made in the memory of her brother to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #306 Roof Fund, and mailed to Susan Bourgault, The Ladies Auxiliary President, 60 Drolet Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02861.
