Richard Audette

AUDETTE – Richard R., 91, of Norton, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022 at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Boston. He was the husband of 55 years to the late Doris N. (Connors) Audette.

Born on December 23, 1931 in Attleboro, MA he was a son of the late Wilfrid and Alexina (Turgeon) Audette.

Richard was raised in Attleboro. He and his wife moved to Norton in 1969. Richard had worked for Texas Instruments as a custodian for 35 years before retiring in 1997.

Richard had a love of music, especially rock and roll, and dancing. He loved spending time with family, reading and learning new things.

Whether it was working on his car, home, or in the yard there was no job that he wouldn't do himself, and could often be seen sketching out his next project.

He is survived by his children, Richard R. Audette of MA, Linda R. Barradas of Attleboro, MA and Steven C. Audette of Norton, MA. Richard also leaves behind several grandchildren.

He was the father of the late Robert A. Audette of Kissimmee, FL. He is also predeceased by four brothers and three sisters.

A private service will take place at St. Johns Cemetery in Attleboro, MA.
