Mrs. Norma M. Wyld Obituary (1925

Norma M. Wyld, 90, of Cumberland ,RI, passed away, Friday, December 18, 2015. She was the wife of Lionel D. Wyld, with whom she shared 61 years of marriage. Born on August 6, 1925 in Albany, New York, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Ruth (Schauman) Scherer. Norma worked for A T Cross Company for many years, until her retirement in 1991. She loved to travel, and enjoyed her trips to Mexico and Hawaii. She was an avid gardener, and loved to shop and spend time with her family. Surviving in addition to her husband are her daughters, Kim Wyld-Chirico of Attleboro, and Janet LaMorte of Streamwood, IL; a sister, Jean Verhagan of NH; brother, Richard Scherer of NY; five grandchildren, Michael, Tyler and Morgan Wyld-Chirico, Jamie Klaka and Jason LaMorte; four great grandchildren, Charlotte Wyld-Chirico, Arin and Avery Klaka and Abby LaMorte; and several nieces and nephews.
