Matthew Frederick Ellis Obituary (1977

Matthew Frederick Ellis, 35, of South Main Street, Attleboro, a beloved companion, loving father, son and grandson passed on Friday, April 26, 2013 at home. He was the beloved companion of sixteen years to Kendra M. Weir. Born in Attleboro on November 15, 1977, Matt was a son of Fred Ellis and his companion Lynne Demers of Attleboro and Bonnie Brady of Providence. Matt was currently employed for many years as a landscaper for Cut Above Landscape in Attleboro. He enjoyed dirt bike riding and working on cars and equipment. Matt especially enjoyed spending time with his children. He would ride dirt bikes with them, fish and play video games. Matt also enjoyed hanging out with his friends and often helped them repair or modify cars and assist in home repairs or renovations. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him. In addition to his parents and companion, Kendra, Matt is survived by his beloved children: Jasmine E. Ellis, Dylan M. Ellis, Nathan R. Ellis and Morgan E. Ellis, all of Attleboro; a paternal grandmother: Pauline Ellis of Cumberland; a great-aunt: Rita Goffinet of Cumberland; an aunt: Karen Lambert of Cumberland, many cousins, co-workers and friends. Matt also leaves behind his beloved dog: Rufus. At the request of the family, visiting hours and funeral service are respectfully private. Matt will be laid to rest at a later date in St. John's Cemetery, West Street, Attleboro. Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro.
