Mrs. Martha E. Maher Obituary (1918

ATTLEBORO – Martha E. Maher, 95, of Attleboro passed away on Monday, June 9, 2014 at the Life Care Center of Attleboro. She was the wife of the late William V. Maher. Martha was born in North Attleboro, MA on June 20, 1918. She was educated in the North Attleboro schools and worked for the City of Attleboro in the collector’s office for many years. Martha also held a Massachusetts real estate license for several years. Martha enjoyed reading, painting watercolors on oil canvas and spending time at her summer home in Dennis Port, MA. She is survived by her niece Mary Johnson of Seekonk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 11 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, 133 North Main Street, Attleboro. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, North Attleboro. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral Mass on Thursday from 10 – 11 a.m. in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro.
