Mrs. Marsha Elizabeth Yaghoobian Obituary (1940

ATTLEBORO – Marsha Elizabeth Yaghoobian, 76, of Attleboro, passed away on Thursday, December 1st, 2016 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of Harry Yaghoobian, to whom she was wed on April 8, 1961. Born in Cranston, Rhode Island on April 25, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Charles W. and Emma (Young) Morton. Mrs. Yaghoobian had worked in the toy manufacturing industry, having been employed by Hasbro Industries as an assembler for 35 years. In addition to spending time with her family, Marsha enjoyed crocheting and vacationing in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire. Besides her beloved husband of 55 years, she is survived by her devoted daughters; Dianne E. Yaghoobian and Karen M. Viers and her late husband Joseph Viers, of Attleboro. She is survived by her cherished grandchildren; Joseph Viers Jr. and his wife Krystal and Kelly Viers and her companion Rob German, all of Attleboro. Marsha was the adoring great-grandmother to Tyler German, Maddox Viers, and Camden German. She was especially excited to be having a baby great-granddaughter, Kali, due in January, 2017. She was the dear sister of; Andrea Savicki of Pawtucket, RI; Niles Morton of Seekonk, MA; Melody Tougas of West Palm Beach, FL; and the late “Sonny” Morton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, December 5, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street Attleboro. A funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 6th, 2016 at 9:00 A.M. from the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Coyle Drive, Seekonk. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Marsha’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
