Mr. Luis M. Costa Obituary (1961

S. ATTLEBORO – Luis M. Costa, 55, of S. Attleboro, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at his home. He was the devoted husband of Kathy Costa of S. Attleboro to whom he met when he was only 16 years old. Born on December 26, 1961 in St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Manuel B. and Maria (Melo) Costa. Luis was the owner and operator of Don's Luncheonette in Pawtucket, RI for over 21 years. He was an active member of the Portuguese American Club in Attleboro and an avid New England Patriots Fan. Luis had a big heart and would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need. He loved spending time with his family, friends and his beloved dog “Sonny”. Luis also had a love for all kinds of music. In addition to his wife, Luis is survived by his siblings; Ana Moniz of FL, Carlos Costa and his wife Diane of RI, Nelia Jacobs and her husband Larry of NH and Joe Costa and his companion Christina Ferreira both of S. Attleboro; also many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Monday, January 16, 2017 at 11 a.m. in St. Vincent de Paul Parish, 71 Linden Street, Attleboro. Immediately following the Mass all are invited to join the family for a collation downstairs in the parish hall. Burial will take place privately.
