John Vieira

John C. Vieira, a thoughtful and dedicated husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on February 26, 2024, at the age of 80 years old. He was the beloved husband of Denise Vieira of Attleboro.

Born on March 25, 1943, in Attleboro, Massachusetts he was the son of the late John and Diana (Sicard) Vieira.

John lived a life full of purpose, joy, and affection. His dedication to his work and love for his family defined his life. As an IT technician in the building industry, he was employed at Bird & Son from 1968 until 2010, demonstrating a commitment that resonated with all who knew him. Beyond his work, John found happiness in his hobbies, which included biking, tennis, golfing, bowling, swimming, reading, and traveling. He was a proud alumnus of Attleboro High School and Bryant College.

In addition to his wife Denise he is survived by his children; Traci Boldt of Taunton; Jon Vieira and wife Suzie of Attleboro; Michael Vieira and wife Gwen of Attleboro, and Rachael Shaw and husband Nathan of Attleboro; his grandchildren, Nicholas Demers, Tori Chapman, Jason Boldt, Savannah Boldt, Brooke Vieira, Gage Shaw, Jaden Shaw, Brody Shaw, Landon Vieira, Avery Vieira, Porsha Vieira and Shelby Vieira all of Attleboro; his siblings, Timothy Vieira, Karen Smith, Gail Burek and Richard Vieira. He was predeceased by a sister, Julie Tideman.

A memorial gathering to celebrate John's life will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm with a memorial service at 2:00PM in the Duffy-Poule Funeral and Cremation Services, located at 20 Peck Street, Attleboro, Massachusetts, 02703.
