Mr. John W. Jillson Obituary (1939

ATTLEBORO – John W. Jillson, 74, of Attleboro passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 5, 2 014 in his home. He was the loving husband of Patricia (Cameron) Jillson of Attleboro. Born October 6, 1939 in Cambridge, MA he was a son of the late Leslie and Grace (Dimaggio) Jillson. John grew up in Lynn, MA and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy after graduation. John worked as a machinist for CPS Technologies in Norton for over 25 years. He enjoyed playing tennis and loved taking his grandchildren out to eat. In addition to his wife, John is survived by a daughter, Linda Ladue of Attleboro; three grandchildren, Michelle Komanapalli of Pawtucket, Renee Ladue of Woonsocket and Lorna Ladue of Attleboro; four great grandchildren, Tyler, Jaylen, Courtney and Selaura; four siblings, Leslie Jillson and Alida O’Grady both of Danvers, Dorothy Heckbert of Attleboro and Robert Jillson of Danvers; also many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 2-6 p.m. in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro. Burial will take place at a later date.
