Ms. Hayley Maureen Sanford Obituary (1996

SEEKONK – Hayley M. Sanford, 19, of Seekonk, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 after injuries sustained from an automotive accident. Born on December 5, 1996 in Attleboro, MA, she was the loving daughter of Russell Sanford Jr., AFD and his wife Sharon (Quimby) Sanford of Seekonk. Hayley was a 2014 Graduate of Seekonk High where she was the captain of the high school cheer team. After high school, Hayley attended Bristol Community College for two years before recently transferring to Bridgewater State University. Hayley was currently a management major at BSU and also on the BSU cheerleading squad. She thoroughly enjoyed cheerleading and was a Rhode Island Elite All Star Cheerleader. Hayley was planning a trip in April of 2017 to Daytona Beach, FL for the NCA & NDA Daytona Beach Classic cheerleading competition. Hayley worked at Toby Keith's - I Love This Bar and Grill in Foxborough for the past two years and enjoyed hiking and spending time with her friends and her cat “Chloe”. She especially loved her annual Labor Day camping trip with her family. In addition to her parents, Hayley is survived by her grandparents, Russell Sr. and Rita Sanford of Attleboro and Maureen Quimby of Attleboro; her two aunts, Jennifer Quimby and her longtime companion, Eric Arsenault both of Attleboro and Melissa and her husband, Peter Trevani of Whitinsville, MA; her uncle, Jon Quimby of Attleboro; her many cousins; her Godfather, Gregory Jolly, AFD, of Attleboro; her boyfriend, Steven Cortese of Rehoboth; her lifelong friends, William, Penny, Meghann and Alyssa Griffin all of Attleboro; and her best friend, Nyssa Gomez of Seekonk. She was the granddaughter of the late Richard Quimby, who passed away in 2015. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, September 26, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 in St. John the Evangelist Church, 133 North Main Street, Attleboro. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Attleboro.
