Mr. Harold "Hal" A. Fuller Obituary (1933

ATTLEBORO – Harold A. “Hal” Fuller, 81, of Attleboro passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015 in the Brockton V.A. Hospital. He was the loving husband of 59 years to Elizabeth “Bette” (Liberatore) Fuller of Attleboro. Born April 9, 1933 in Attleboro, MA he was a son of the late Harold G. and Camilla (Kelley) Fuller. Hal was raised and educated in Attleboro and was a Class of 1952 graduate of Attleboro High School. He was a 4 year varsity letterman and was a basketball player on the 1951 Tech Tourney Championship team. Hal was later inducted into the Attleboro Area High School Football Hall of Fame. After completing one year at Boston University, Hal enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served his country during the Korean War. He was stationed aboard the USS Antietam, USS Macon and the USS Missouri during his time in service. Hal worked as a Production Forman for the Henry H. Lewis Co. in Attleboro, Best Plastics Inc. and Coro Inc. both located in Rhode Island for many years. He then became a Manufacturing Sales Rep for Eastern Resins Corp. in Woonsocket, RI until his retirement in 2002. Even during his retirement he continued to work as a consultant for many local manufacturing companies up until his passing. Hal was a lifetime member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks - Lodge #1014 in Attleboro, a 3rd degree member of the Attleboro Knights of Columbus Council #404, and a member of the Attleboro Historical Society. He was a classic car enthusiast and loved working on his 1973 Ford Mustang. Hal also enjoyed working on his lawn and spending time maintaining the family beach house in Eastham, MA. Above all he truly enjoyed spending time with his loving grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Hal is survived by his three children, Lisa J. Fuller of Attleboro, Brian H. Fuller and his wife, Lisa of Attleboro and Keith M. Fuller and his wife, Susanne of Fresno, CA; eight grandchildren, Leigh A. Reposa of Narragansett, RI, Jason H. and Joshua J. Graziosi both of Attleboro, Jenna E. Graziosi of Narragansett, RI, Jonathan K. Graziosi of North Haven, CT, Brian L. Fuller of Acton, Meagan E. Fuller of New Orleans, LA and Derrah K. Fuller of Brea, CA; four great grandchildren, Aidan J., Jackson P., Avery J. and Leah E. Graziosi all of Attleboro; a sister, Joan Guvremont of North Attleboro, as well as many nieces and nephews. Hal was also the brother of the late Beverly (Fuller) Goslin. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, March 31, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck St., Attleboro. A funeral will be conducted on Wednesday, April 1, at 10 a.m. from the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, at 11 a.m., in St. John the Evangelist Church, 133 North Main St., Attleboro. Burial with military honors will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Attleboro, MA.
