Mr. Gary D. Gardner Sr. Obituary (1953

ATTLEBORO – Gary D. Gardner Sr., 61, of Attleboro passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 22, 2015 while vacationing in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. Gary was born in Attleboro, MA on March 1, 1953 to the late Howard and Rosalie (Perry) Gardner. Gary was a self-employed contractor for over 40 years. He enjoyed boating, skiing on Loon Mountain, and spending time with his loving grandchildren. He was also an avid local sports fan, especially UMass Lowell Track and Field. Gary is survived by his two sons, Gary Gardner Jr., and his wife Caitlin, of Auburn; Jason Gardner, and his wife, Sandra, of Shrewsbury; his daughter Brooke, and her husband Glenn Palmer, of Attleboro; as well as seven grandchildren, Jared Palmer, Anthony Gardner, Kiernan Gardner, Aiden Gardner, Ethan Palmer, Cavan Gardner and Avery Palmer; his two brothers, Howard Gardner Jr., and his wife, Coleen, of Attleboro; John Gardner, and his wife, Denise, of Attleboro; a companion, Nancy Maiorana, of Franklin; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Dennis Gardner. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Monday, March 2, 2015 from 4 -7 p.m. in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro, immediately followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be held privately.
