Eileen Carlstrom

CARLSTROM – Eileen A., 91, of Attleboro, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 after a long courageous battle. She was the loving wife of the late Wilbur Carlstrom of Attleboro.

Born November 13, 1931 in East Taunton, MA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Maud (Pilling) Martin.

Eileen grew up in East Taunton, MA and graduated from Taunton High School. She settled in North Attleboro where she raised her family and later resided in Rehoboth and Attleboro. Eileen worked as an assembler for Texas Instruments until her much deserved retirement.

Eileen and her late husband Wilbur were the proud owners of Wills Tackle Shop on Falls Pond in North Attleboro. Her hobbies included crocheting, knitting, reading, and yard sales. Eileen cherished spending time with her family most of all.

She is survived by her three children, Thomas Carlstrom of Rehoboth, William Carlstrom of Bourne and Elizabeth Maloon of Attleboro; her adoring six grandchildren, Laura and her husband Mat, Tamarra, Shawn, Emily, Tyler, and Kira; Eileen also had nine great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her siblings, brother Richard Martin, sister Marjori Crowley, and her son-in-law Eric Maloon.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Hope Health Hospice staff for their continued support and caring for Eileen.

Eileen’s services will be held privately.
