Eduarda Pavao Obituary (1942 - 2022) - Attleboro, Massachusetts

PAVAO – Eduarda Martins, 80, of Attleboro, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at her home. She was the loving wife of Manuel Roque Pavão of Attleboro. Born on February 9, 1942 in São Miguel, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Manuel Ferreira Jorge and Margarida Da Conceicao Martins. Eduarda migrated to the United States in 1974 and settled in Attleboro, MA. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and cooking for her family. In addition to her husband, Eduarda is survived by her son, Manuel Pavão and his wife Cheryl of Pawtucket, RI; her two daughters, Margaret Engle and her husband Kevin of Woodland Hills, Utah and Maria Benson of Attleboro, MA; her sister, Maria Alves of St. Michael, Azores; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; also, her son-in-law, Paul Celona of North Providence, RI. Eduarda was predeceased by her daughter the late Zelia Celona and her late siblings, Manuel Cabral, Maria Benevides and Margarida Jorge. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 133 North Main Street, Attleboro, MA. Burial will take place at St. John’s Cemetery, Attleboro.
