With a twinkle in his eye and a heart full of love, Cory Lee Harrison, born on January 19, 1974 in Olney, IL, took his final bow on August 4, 2026. A man of many talents and even more laughs, Cory was the embodiment of charisma and compassion. He was known for his adventurous spirit, which was evident in his love for traveling to new places, embarking on new adventures, and even in the way he approached his work as a plumber. His creativity knew no bounds; whether it was building remarkable structures with Legos or creating beautiful artwork on canvas, Cory always found a way to bring magic into the mundane.
Cory is survived by his father and step-mother, George and Sue Harrison; his mother, Alda Harrison; his brother and sister-in-law, Wendell and Beth Harrison; and his nieces, Victoria and Samantha Harrison. He also leaves behind his ex-wife, Wendy Harrison, with whom he shared many cherished memories. Cory was preceded in death by his love for life, his infectious laughter, and his knack for making any moment memorable.
Cory's love for his granddaughters was unparalleled. He cherished every moment spent with them, whether it was sharing his passion for music, introducing them to the thrill of a new Lego build, or simply enjoying their company. Those who were fortunate enough to know Cory will remember him as a beacon of light, always ready to spread joy, share a laugh, or lend a compassionate ear.
