In her early years she was a homemaker raising her family and welcoming all their friends in their home on Thacher Street in Attleboro. As the family grew older, she ventured out into the working world as a friendly face to many new moms in the Infant Department at London’s Department Store. At one point she helped work at Mercier’s Market, their neighborhood store in Lonicut. Later upon retirement, she enjoyed reading,
word search, and especially shopping. She will be remembered for the hundreds of towels and afghans she crocheted and shared with so many. Yvette lived in Myrtle Beach, SC with Michael and Diane for 14 years and later returning to Attleboro living with her daughter Lisa Gousie and grandson Nick who lovingly cared for her
until her passing.
A special thank you to her CNA, Chris with Bristol Aging and Wellness, the medical professionals at Sturdy Memorial Hospital, and especially all the staff at Hope Hospice in Providence that kept her so comfortable.
