Beatrice I. Langevin-Terranova Obituary (1918

Beatrice I. Langevin-Terranova, 93, of West Street, Attleboro, passed peacefully on April 23, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Francis Langevin, Sr. and the late Anthony Terranova MD. Born Beatrice Chicoine in Slatersville, Rhode Island on September 23, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Marion Eno Chicoine. Beatrice graduated with a degree in Business Administration from the Lowell Technological Institute. She worked as an accountant for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for many years prior to retirement. She worked at the Wrentham State School and at the Walpole and Norfolk Correctional facilities. Beatrice enjoyed golf, skiing, gardening, and her golden retrievers and cats. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Beatrice is survived by her three children; Irene Henderson of Wilson, North Carolina, Elaine Dezotell of North Attleboro, and Francis Langevin, Jr. of Attleboro, a sister; Theresa Lincoln of Pawtucket, seven grandchildren; Jessica Navedo, Christopher Langevin, Jason Langevin, Laura Nyman, Scott Jolicoeur, Kristen Dezotell, and Michael Dezotell, and sixteen great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Maurice Chicoine, Arthur Chicoine, Gregory Chicoine, and Jermaine Kelley. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro where the Langevin-Terranova family will receive friends on Thursday, April 26th from 5PM - 8 PM. A funeral will be conducted on Friday, April 27th at 9 AM from the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Coyle Drive, Seekonk celebrated by Rev. Thomas Rita, Pastor. Beatrice will be laid to rest in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Attleboro.
