Mr. Robert G. White Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Robert G. White of Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 18, 2022 at 87 years of age surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Rhea E. (Demers) White of 62 years. Son of the late Anita M. (Robillard) and Eugene W. White. Loving father of Cheryl Anderson and her husband Kenneth of Smithfield, RI; Renee Oliver of Attleboro; Gregory White and his wife Lyn of Attleboro; Melissa Faria and her husband Brian of East Providence, RI; Michael White and his wife Jennifer of West Barnstable; Michal Shelley Earl and her husband Brian of Assonet; Robert White and his wife Jessica of Seekonk; and the late Eric White who passed in 2013. Cherished grandfather of Eric Oliver and his wife Michelle; Elizabeth Oliver; Gregory Michael White; Marissa Anderson; Megan Anderson; Jakob Leduc and his wife Touen; Owen Bangs; Mia Faria; Rachelle Faria; Brooke Earl; Jonathan Earl; Ashley White; Gabriella White; Owen Viveiros; Ava Pelorella; and the late Jason Izzo. Great grandfather of Ariana White. Brother of the late Rita, Donald and Lorraine. Robert also leaves many nieces, nephews and extended family from Rhode Island, Connecticut and Florida. Robert was born in West Warwick, RI and was a resident of Attleboro since 1972. He enlisted in the United States Navy and served during the Korean War between 1952 to 1955. He later owned and managed the Exact Weight Scales Company until his retirement. Robert was an active communicant of St. Stephen’s Parish in Attleboro until it’s closing and then became an active current communicant of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church in Seekonk. Robert enjoyed feeding and watching birds. He loved the water and playing weekly card games with Norm and Maggie Quinn. The things most important to Robert was his faith in God and Scriptures. He showed God’s love to everyone he could! The White family would like to thank the caregivers at Hope Hospice in Providence, RI and to all family and friends who helped during this time. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from 8:30 to 9:15 AM at Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 AM at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Coyle Drive, Seekonk. Burial will follow at St. Stephen’s Cemetery, 683 South Main Street, Attleboro.
