Mr. Robert Dennis

VENICE, FL – Robert Dennis, fondly known as Bob, passed away at his retirement home in Venice, Florida on August 20, 2020. He was the husband of Jacqueline Bragg of Attleboro and had just celebrated their 63rd marriage anniversary in July.

He was born on October 26, 1935 in Attleboro, MA and was a son of the late Thomas and Leda Dennis.

Bob spent most of his career teaching at North Attleboro High School and retired to Florida in 1989.

Bob and Jacqueline raised six beautiful children in Rehoboth, MA, John Scott Dennis, Steven Dennis, Jay Dennis, Robert Dennis Jr, Rebecca Curtin and Kimberly Joyal. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial visitation will be held from 4 – 7 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2020 at Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro, MA,

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Saturday, September 12th at St. John the Evangelist Church, 133 North Main St., Attleboro.

Burial will follow at St John’s Cemetery, West Street, Attleboro.
