Mrs. Phyllis Ann Dailey Obituary (1946

ATTLEBORO- Phyllis Ann Dailey, 72, a resident of Attleboro for over 30 years, passed away surrounded by the comfort of her loving family, on Sunday, September 2, 2018, at the Milford Regional Medical Center in Milford. She was the devoted wife to Charles Dailey of Attleboro. Born on April 5, 1946, in Pawtucket, RI, Phyllis was the dedicated daughter to the late Raymond and Catherine (Breen) Haskell. Phyllis was brought up in Pawtucket and was a graduate from Pawtucket West High School. Following high school, she graduated from the Rhode Island School of Practical Nursing. From 1971-1976, Phyllis was worked as a nurse at Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket. She was also employed for many years at the Wrentham State School and at Hillside Adult Day Health Center from which she retired. In her spare time, Phyllis enjoyed travelling, playing video games on the computer, arts & crafts, and going out on dates with her husband. She also loved watching soap operas, especially her favorite, “Days of our Lives.” Phyllis was also known for her big heart and helping attitude. Her desire to assist and care for others led her to volunteer much of her time at the Willett and Brennan Middle Schools, along with various other places throughout the area, helping people everywhere she went. In addition to her husband, Phyllis is survived by her cherished son, Sean Dailey of Salem; her soon to be grandchild; her sister, Helen Medeiros of Attleboro; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents, Phyllis is predeceased by her brothers, Raymond, David, and Thomas Haskell; and her sister, Ilene Tetreault. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, September 6, from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. immediately followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street Attleboro. Burial will follow in North Purchase Cemetery, 825 North Main Street, Attleboro.
