Ms. Miriam "Mim" Condon Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Providence – Ms. Miriam “Mim” Condon, 71, passed away Friday March 23, 2018 at the Philip Hulitar Center in Providence, RI. Miriam was born on January 24, 1947 in Attleboro, MA to the late J. Harry and Miriam (Olive) Condon. Miriam was raised at the family homestead on Veery Road in Attleboro and attended St. John's Elementary where she was a member of the first graduating class. Miriam then was a member of the first graduating class of Bishop Feehan High School. The Condon family was instrumental in founding both schools. Upon graduation of high school Miriam attended Bay State College and earned her Associates Degree. She was employed for many years at Providence College as a student loan specialist. Miriam also held employment at Bishop Feehan High School and Sturdy Memorial Hospital as an administrator. Miriam is survived by her siblings, Judith C. Goetz; Geraldine C. Lavery; Joseph Condon and brother-in-law Charles J. Goetz. She was the loving Aunt to her 6 nieces and nephews and 4 grand nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Miriam was predeceased by her sister, SR. Sean Condon, RSM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Saturday, April 7th from 10:00 - 12:00 p.m. immediately followed by a memorial service at 12:00 p.m. in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street Attleboro. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Attleboro. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Bishop Feehan High School, 70 Holcott Drive, Attleboro, MA 02703 in Miriam’s memory would be appreciated.
