    Mr. Michael R. Boucher

    May 16, 1959 - October 17, 2018

ATTLEBORO- Michael R. Boucher, 59, of Attleboro, passed away peacefully at home, after a courageous 6 year battle with lung cancer, on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, surrounded by the love, comfort, and care of his adored and devoted wife, daughters, and mother-in-law. He was the beloved husband for 37 years to Cheryl (Perry) Boucher, who he happily married on April 25, 1981. Born on May 16, 1959, in Attleboro, Michael was the devoted son to Raymond P. and Jacqueline A. (Lemire) Boucher. For nearly 20 years, Michael worked as a purchasing manager for Northland-Willette, Inc., in Plainville. In his spare time, Michael enjoyed riding and working on his Harley and his tractors. Above all, he truly cherished every moment spent and all of the memories made with his dear friends and family. In addition to the love of his life, Cheryl and his parents, Michael is survived by his proud and treasured daughters, Emily and Elizabeth Boucher, both of Attleboro; his siblings, Linda (Boucher) Laliberte, Thomas Boucher, Holly (Boucher) Moore, and Brooke Boucher; his mother-in-law, Edith “Teena” Perry; and also many deeply beloved family members, friends, and neighbors. The Boucher family would like to graciously recognize and thank the supportive community of Northland-Willette Hydraulics, Inc., the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, the Brigham and Women's Hospital, the Sturdy Memorial Hospital & Oncology Team, the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Hospice Center, HopeHealth of Massachusetts, and all of Michael’s friends and family for their generous love and support during this difficult time. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Wednesday, October 24, from 4 -8 p.m. in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck St. Attleboro. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 25, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. A collation will follow. Burial will take place privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael’s memory may be made to Hope Health at the following link https://www.hopehealthco.org/ways-to-give/memorial-giving/
