ATTLEBORO- Margaret R. Guillemette, 83, of Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Garden Place Healthcare in Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard J. Guillemette. Born on April 10, 1935, in Attleboro, Margaret was the loving daughter of the late Philip and Margaret (Walsh) Everton. Margaret grew up in Attleboro and was a graduate of Attleboro High School. For many years, she was a respected and loyal employee at Swank Jeweler’s in Attleboro. A woman of deep faith, Margaret was a parishioner at St. John the Evangelist Church in Attleboro for many years. In her spare time, Margaret loved music, knitting, crocheting, and crafting handmade items for all the loved ones in her life. Above all, she loved spending time at her family’s home on the weekends and during the holiday season. Margaret is survived by her devoted children, Karen Walasavage and her husband Stanley of Dallas, OR, Sharon Berlo and her husband Joseph of Berkley, MA, Debra Briggs of Attleboro, Donna Minnehan of Abington, and Patricia Hill of East Hampton, MA; her grandchildren, Joseph Berlo, Stephen Walasavage, Christine Hartman, Russell, Stacia, Jennifer, and Shane Sayler, and also Mark and Ryan Briggs; several great-grandchildren; her siblings, Herbert and Francis Everton, both of Attleboro; her nieces and nephews, Keith Pike of East Bridgewater, Rene Therrien of Attleboro, and also Cheryl, Elaine, and David Charette. In addition to her husband and parents, Margaret is predeceased by her son, Richard A. Guillemette and her sisters, Joan Charette and Diane T. Pike. Margaret’s family and friends would like to kindly thank and recognize Margaret’s late sister, Diane T. Pike and also all of the dedicated nurses, care takers, and staff at Garden Place Healthcare for taking care of Margaret for many years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro. A Mass of Christian Burial, will follow at 11 a.m., in St. John the Evangelist Church, 133 North Main St., Attleboro. Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Towne St., North Attleboro.
