Louise Burt

ATTLEBORO – Louise J. Burt, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020 her 90th birthday at the Newton- Wellesley Hospital, Newton, MA. She was the devoted wife of 69 years to the late Warren J. Burt who passed away in August, 2020.

Born on December 5, 1930 in Norton, MA, she was a daughter of the late Gideon Plante and the late Josephine (Sequin) Woodward and her husband Clinton E. Woodward.

Louise was educated in the Norton and Hebronville Schools. She worked for Simmons Manufacturing in Attleboro and was a homemaker to her loving family.

She is survived by her daughter, Wanda L. Burt of Attleboro and her son, Warren C. Burt of Attleboro; her grandchildren, Justin C. Burt and Brittney A. Burt; her siblings, Frank Plante, Neil Plante, Gertrude Matha, Judith Couchesne and Sheila Ream many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Yvonne Leach.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 8:30 – 9:45 a.m. in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck St., Attleboro followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, 133 North Main St., Attleboro. Burial will follow at St. Stephen’s Cemetery, 683 South Main Street, Attleboro.
