Mrs. Joanne E. Duphily Obituary (1957

ATTLEBORO – Joanne Ellen Duphily, 60, lifelong resident of Attleboro, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on July 4, 2018 in the Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Attleboro. She was the loving wife of Donald R. Duphily of Attleboro. Born on September 25, 1957 in Attleboro, MA she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Shirley (Heon) Silva. Joanne graduated from Attleboro Public High School and was employed by LeachGarner for over 25 years. She was an avid animal lover, especially for her dogs and she also enjoyed coloring, reading and spending time with her large family. In addition to her husband, Joanne is survived by her son, Roy Barth of Arizona and her siblings, Edward Silva, Alphonse Silva, Patricia LaChance, Michael Silva and his wife Debbie, Kathy and her husband James Jackson III, James Silva, Stephen Silva and his wife Lena, Cynthia Brown, Mariano Silva and his wife Susan, Shirley and her husband Richard Lapalm and Russell Silva and his companion Holly; also many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation from 4 – 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro. A funeral home service will immediately follow the visitation at 6:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
