Mr. James "Jim" H. Moore

James H. Moore “Jim” of Attleboro, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at 71 years of age. Beloved husband of Mary A. (Sanford) Moore. Son of the late Mary A. (Murphy) and Thomas H. Moore. Loving father of James Moore of Swansea; Katie Russas and her husband Rob of Plainville; Heather Kelley and her husband Alan of Foxboro; and Jason Burtwell of Attleboro. Cherished grandfather of James Moore; Dylan Dixon; Riley and Liam Russas; Shaelyn, Braeden and Ryan Kelley. He was the loving brother of Thomas E. Moore of Hudson, FL and Mary Hodgdon of Spring Hill, FL. Jim was born in Attleboro and graduated Attleboro High School Class of 1969. He went on to obtain an Associate Degree in Business from Johnson and Wales University after serving in the United States Army between 1969-1972 during the Vietnam War. He worked for 27 years at Hilsinger Corporation as a Regional Sales Manager and later for 17 years at True Blue, Inc. based in Tacoma, WA. Jim loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren who were his greatest passion in life. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 AM at Holy Ghost Church, 71 Linden Street, Attleboro. Burial will follow at North Purchase Cemetery, 825 North Main Street, Attleboro. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim’s name may be made to Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center, 55 Fruit Street, Boston, MA 02114 (www.Massgeneral.org).
