Mrs. Irene A. Beede Obituary (1936

NORTON- Irene A. Beede, 81, of Norton, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2017 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She was the beloved wife of 48 years to the love of her life, the late George Beede Born on July 3, 1936 in Worcester, she was the devoted daughter of the late John and Irene (Shea) Salonis. In her spare time, Irene enjoyed cooking, knitting, bird watching, and also enjoying the company of her cats. She was a devout Catholic who was very dedicated to her faith, which played an important role in her life. Her greatest joy was spending time and sharing her life with family and dear friends. Irene is survived by her cherished children, Denise Beede of Norton, Michelle Beede of Raynham, and George Beede and his wife Melissa of Kansas; her 9 grandchildren, Nadine DaSilva of Attleboro, Jennifer Fratalia of Attleboro, Tanya Kincaid of Raynham, Brad Beede-Skinner of Vermont, Kimberly Puglisi of New Hampshire, Jonathan Beede of Vermont, Shannon McDavitt of RI, Owen McDavitt of Bellingham, MA, and Logan Welch of Kansas; 9 great grandchildren; her brother, Albert Salonis; also many nieces and nephews. Irene is predeceased by her son Carlton Beede and her siblings, John and Roger Salonis. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Friday, August 4, from 6 -8 p.m. in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck St. Attleboro. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Saturday, August 5, at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 1 Power St., Norton, MA 02766. Concluding the Mass a celebration of life will be held at 2 Jacobs Way in Norton. Burial will take place privately at a later date.
