Gail was born on August 11, 1956, was educated in N. Attleboro schools, and also attended the University of RI, where she studied art. Gail was one of 6 children, raised in a warm home, where she enjoyed family dinners, music, games and holidays. She loved to play outdoors in her backyard and in her woods with friends and neighbors. From an early age, she connected with the beauty and importance of our natural world, which fostered a love of writing and field study. A very creative person, with good instincts, she became a self-taught floral designer. Gail was employed at Nolan’s Flowers for many years where her talents could be expressed beautifully. More recently, Gail was employed at Judy’s Village Flowers of Foxboro and also enjoyed working seasonally for Attleboro Farm & Garden in N. Attleboro. An environmentalist, Gail raised and released scores of Monarch butterflies and was so moved by their abilities. She shared this passion with her children and everyone. Gail loved and cared for many animal friends, Zeb, Ziggy, Big Girl, Katie, Cosmo, Sprite and Houdini. They brought her many years of enjoyment and comfort. In retirement, Gail enjoyed cooking and sharing family dinners, reading and watching movies and nature programs. She was able to re-connect with relatives and friends. She was there to offer support to family and friends when they needed it. Gail loved the children in her life. They brought her a sense of wonder and awe. She was able to get back to nature on outings and hikes with her sisters and brothers and this meant a great deal to her. Gail was a generous and loving soul! Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 4-6:30 PM at Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro.
