Mrs. Evelyn A. Proulx Obituary (1925

ATTLEBORO- Evelyn A. Proulx, 92, of Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 8th, 2018, at Attleboro Health Care. She was the devoted wife to the late Jean Proulx. She was born on August 28th, 1925, in Attleboro. Evelyn was the adoring daughter to the late Ovila and Diana (Gagne) Tondreau. Evelyn was raised and educated in Attleboro and was employed as an assembler for many of the local businesses in the jewelry industry. She was a member of the Gold Dusters and was also a member of the former Daughters of Isabella. Evelyn was a communicant of the former St. Stephens Church, Attleboro In her spare time, Evelyn enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and bowling. However, she was most happy creating memories and spending time with her loving and treasured family. Evelyn is survived by her cherished sister, Rita Dumont and her husband Albert of Attleboro; her niece, Diane Lamarre of Attleboro; her nephews, George Lamarre and his wife Susan of Florida, Robert Lamarre of Attleboro, Earl Lund and his wife Barbara of North Attleboro, and also Albert Dumont and his wife Kimberly of Attleboro. In addition to her husband and parents, Evelyn was predeceased by her sisters, Irene Lund and Dorothy Lamarre. Funeral services will be held privately. Evelyn will be laid to rest at St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Attleboro.
