Emily C. "Connie" Uriot Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Emily C. “Connie” (Carvalho) Uriot of North Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at 70 years of age. Beloved daughter of the late Margaret L. (James) and Arthur R. Carvalho. Loving mother of Fredrick Uriot and his wife Heather of Attleboro, Robert Uriot of North Attleboro, Heather N. Uriot and her husband Scott Harney of Pawtucket, RI and step-daughter, Samantha Beach of Port Charles, FL. Cherished grandmother of Shane and his partner Brittany, Kendra and her partner Wojciech, Makayla, Isabella and Benjamin. Adored sister of Sandra Aimanovich, Lorna Noren, John Carvalho and Susan Harrop. Emily also leaves many nieces and nephews. Connie was born in Attleboro. She attended Attleboro High School and lived in North Attleboro until her passing. She worked for the City of Attleboro as an Administrative Assistant for Veterans Services. Connie was the Vice President of the Local 44 Chapter and volunteered for DAV. She enjoyed painting, sewing and playing guitar. She spent much of her time volunteering and organizing for the local nursing home Veterans’ birthday parties. Connie organized fundraising for a van to get Veterans to their appointments. She planned the Veteran’s Parades for the City of Attleboro. Even though she was the recipient of over 200 awards and accolades for her work with the Veterans, Connie’s proudest moments were spent with her grandchildren! Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 from 5-8 PM at the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 10 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 133 N. Main Street, Attleboro. Burial will be private.
