Edna M. Guillette

September 13, 1928 - February 23, 2021

Edna M. Guillette, of Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 92 years of age. Daughter of the late Francis J. and Hazel M. (Meunier) Guillette. Niece of John and wife Karen Correia of Yarmouth, Vivian Richmond of FL, Peter Urban of S. Attleboro and Edmund LaFleur of Dennis Port. Cherished cousin of the late Anita Sabourin of Marion and the late Raymond R. Patenaude of Norton. She also leaves behind many friends. Edna was born and raised in Attleboro and she was a graduate of Attleboro High School class of 1946. She received an associate degree from Brown University. She worked as a Librarian at the Attleboro Public Library for 55 years. Edna enjoyed reading, was an avid Red Sox fan, a member of the Friends of Attleboro Public Library and a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edna’s name to Friends of Attleboro Public Library, 74 N. Main Street, Attleboro, MA 02703. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 from 8:30-9:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 AM at St. John’s the Evangelist Church, 133 Main Street, Attleboro. Burial at St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Attleboro.
