Edith Ann (Mounce) Beauregard of Attleboro, wife of the late Robert J. Beauregard. Daughter of the late Ellen M. (Cook) and Lawrence H. Mounce. Loving mother of Ellen Cournoyer and her husband Dave of N. Attleboro; Deborah Diaz and her husband Jose of Alexandria, VA; Cheryl Barrett and her husband Timothy of Attleboro; Robert Beauregard and his fiancee, Tracey of Lakeville; and Michael Beauregard and his companion, Jackie of Franklin. Cherished grandmother of Jamie Mutschler and her husband Andrew; Daniel Cournoyer and his wife Catherine; Erin Newby and her husband Eric; Emily King and her husband Matthew; Nicole Turner and her husband Michael; Natalya Diaz; Daniella Diaz; Jennifer Varricchione and her husband Justin; Scott Barrett; Dean Fawcett and his wife Kim; Hailey Beauregard; Eric Beauregard and his companion Jennifer; and Amanda Beauregard. Great grandmother of Natalie, Ryan, Nathan, Ethan, Isabella, Charlee, Grayson, Madison, Cora, Brooklyn, Camryn, Breanna, Mitchell, Sofia, Maxwell, Anabelle, Jaxon, Jack, Autumn, Maddie, Ronan, Samantha, Connor, Eva, Aubrey, Adriana and Alana. Adored sister of the late Lawrence Mounce, Jr., Richard Mounce and Robert Mounce. Edith was born in Marshfield and attended Marshfield High School. She went on to attend the Kathleen Dell Career School to study as a Dental Assistant and worked in Boston. Once she married Robert, she became a full time homemaker in S. Attleboro, and later moved to Attleboro. Edith was a member of the Girl Scouts of America for over 50 years. She was on the Board of Directors for the Arnold L. Anderson House for girl scouts, and a member of the Second Congregational Church of Attleboro. Edith loved crocheting, quilting, sewing and crafting. She loved cooking, baking, enjoyed square dancing and camped throughout New England. The Beauregard family would life to thank the staff at Daggett-Crandall-Newcomb Home, Compassionate Care Hospice and Home Instead Attleboro for their care and professionalism. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 9-11 AM at Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro. A Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, 165 West Street, Attleboro. The family requests to all those that attend, to please wear a mask.
