Retired from the Air Force and USPS, Veteran TSgt Donovan Frank Paine has joined his son, navy seal Jeffrey Scott Paine, on the other side. Don passed away June 18th peacefully at home. Don was a faithful husband of 64 years and a loving, involved father and grandfather. He enjoyed the outdoors, wildlife and watching sports. He picked up Wii bowling when they moved to Arizona and bowled over 600 “300” games-he played to win or he didn’t play at all. Fond family memories include: camping, fishing, playing basketball, pinochle, cribbage and Yahtzee. He will be remembered for his “wink of an eye” mischievous nature, as well as his whistling or singing songs like ‘Mairzy Doats’ and ‘I Love You a Bushel and a Peck’.
He is survived by his wife, Edie Paine, whom he loved and cherished dearly; his twin daughters, Sheri Bauer and Teri Fleming, and his grandsons, Todd Walsh, Daniel Fleming, Benjamin Fleming and Tyler Keating.
Services for Donovan will be held at a later date.
