Mr. David J. Philibert Obituary (1942

NORTON- David J. Philibert, 73, of Norton, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2015 at home surrounded by his family.He was the beloved husband of Marina. Born on March 3, 1942 in Attleboro, MA, he was a son of the late Joseph and Marion (Pharmakis) Philibert. David was good with his hands, and enjoyed tinkering and repairing various things. He enjoyed target shooting and was an avid pool player, having belonged to RI Billiards for many years. He will be remembered as a very intelligent dignified and knowledgeable man, right to the end. He cared deeply for his family, especially his wife, who took great great care of him during his illness. He is survived by his son James Philibert of Norton, daughter, Tracey Rounds of Attleboro and his two grandsons, Anthony Pedini of Attleboro and Tyler Philibert of Norton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck St., Attleboro. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
