Christine Cloud Sousa

SOUSA - Christine (Cloud), 60, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on Sunday, August 28, 2022. She was the loving mother of Kristyn and her husband Matthew of Attleboro and Nathin of Attleboro; beloved grandmother of Keira and Aria both of Attleboro; sister of Teresa and her husband
Don of South Carolina, Mary Ellen and her husband Frank of Attleboro, John and his wife Pam of Rehoboth; also, many close cousins, extended family and friends.

Born on September 29, 1961 in Attleboro, she was a daughter of the late John P. and Christina (Caponigro) Cloud. Christine was the granddaughter of the late Antonio and Teresa Caponigro and the late Manual and Mary Cloud.

Christine was a lifelong resident of Attleboro proudly growing up in the "Lonicut" neighborhood. She was a graduate of Attleboro High School, where she was an excellent student, graduating with honors.
She enjoyed summering in Bristol, Rl and on Prudence Island. Christine loved music, creative writing, gardening, cooking, animals; especially her cats, laughing and never taking herself too seriously. She was
very spiritual, loved spending time with nature and believed in letting your soul shine. One of the quotes she held dear to her heart was, "To err is human, to forgive is divine" by Alexander Pope.

She was loved by all who knew her and will be deeply missed.

Relatives and close friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation at 2- 4pm on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro.
