Charissa “Chrissy” Lyn Briggs Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

ATTLEBORO – Charissa “Chrissy” Lyn Briggs, 42, of Attleboro, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Attleboro. Born on May 21, 1978 in Attleboro, she was a loving daughter of Jeffrey David Briggs of Attleboro and Paula Millian Hansel and her husband Nate of Pascoag, RI. Chrissy grew up in Attleboro and was a graduate of Mount St. Charles Academy and then she attended Becker College. She was employed at the Picture People, where she treasured taking photos for her clients. Chrissy enjoyed diamond painting, coloring and of course photography. Her focus was always on her beloved daughters and she loved spending time with them. Her most enjoyable activities with her daughters, were watching TV, talking, baking cookies and painting their nails together. She also valued her time while volunteering at their dance studio. In addition to her parents, Chrissy is survived by her three daughters, Kelsey Briggs of Cumberland, RI, Mackenzie Briggs and Kiley Briggs both of Attleboro; her sister, Lisa Fladger and her husband Edwin of Bainbridge, OH; her two nieces, Hannah and Jordan Fladger both of Bainbridge, OH; her aunt, Barbara Briggs of Attleboro and her uncle, Jack Briggs of Fitchburg, MA; she also leaves behind her fiancé, Matt Dufault of Attleboro. Chrissy was the sister of the late Jeffrey David Briggs Jr. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, November 12, 2020 from 4 - 7 p.m. at the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro. The funeral will be conducted on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 9 a.m. from the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist, 133 North Main Street, Attleboro. Burial will take place privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider giving to Boston Children's Hospital, in memory of Chrissy.
