Mrs. Bethany Turner-Wicker

ATTLEBORO – Bethany Turner-Wicker, 71, of Attleboro passed away on Monday, June 17, 2019 in the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence, RI. Born on March 8, 1948 in Pensacola, FL she was a daughter of the late Marden Shepley and Bertha (Coady) Tuner. Bethany resided in Attleboro most of her life. She worked as a landscaper designer for the Winthrop Nursery and other area nurseries and flower shops. Bethany also worked as a secretary for Attorney Howard J. Wicker. She was a longtime volunteer at the Rev. Gordon N. Larson Senior Center in Attleboro and she enjoyed reading, gardening, collecting all things “eggplant” and watching the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. Her most treasured time was making memories with her loving grandchildren. Bethany is survived by her two sons, Christian David Turner of Bourne and Adam Shepley Turner and his wife Margaret of Attleboro; her grandchildren, Christian, Julia and Nina Turner and Coady, Adam and Caleb Turner; her two siblings, Roberta Lamoray and her husband Joseph of Charlestown, RI and David Turner and his wife Meredith of Brookfield, Wisconsin; her former spouse and friend, Howard Wicker Esq. of Connecticut and also many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation from 1 – 3 p.m. on Monday, June 24, 2019 in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro, MA. Burial will take place a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bethany’s name may be made to HopeHealth, Attention: Philanthropy, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
